The Zoo!
My buddy, Colt, and I went to the zoo this week with our Mommies! The weather was perfect and I got to walk around like a big boy. I walked most of our two-hour trip and I quickly got the hang of looking inside of each exhibit to see the animals. I quacked at the ducks and roared at the lion. I was sure to wave to them and say "bye" as we walked away. I had a great time!!
I walked right up to this penguin statue, stood in front of it, and said, "cheese!" My Mommy got the hint and came over with her camera to take my picture!
Colton liked the penguins, too!
Just like last year, the penguins seemed to be my favorite. I loved getting so close to them; they are right on my level!
I loved looking at the animals, so our zoo pictures end up being a lot of the back of my head!
I chose the lion to ride on when we went on the carousel.
We wanted to make sure we got to see the lion before the zoo closed, so I hopped in my stroller for the last few minutes and got to see him! He was looking right at me! I offered him one of my Goldfish crackers, but he didn't seem to be interested.
I love the zoo and I can't wait to go back!

Pop!
I love being outside. Recently, my parents taught me how to blow bubbles, so I have been doing a lot of it lately. I started off calling them "bubbles" until I realized that I hear the word "pop" a lot more often when I am playing with them. So, now I call out every time I see a bubble pop!

Referee
I love to copy everything that my Daddy does. He took advantage of this by showing me how to do some signals that the referees and umpires do during games. I like doing them all, but "face mask" is my favorite!
Here I am showing my skills off to Uncle Nick!

Train Ride!
My parents took me on a train ride! I was SO excited when they told me where we were going; I kept saying "choo-choo!"
I thought being on the train was really cool. I looked out the window and waved to the kids as we passed them. I was interested in every noise. My parents and I rode in our own train car, so we got to be silly during the ride.
I got to ride backwards and sit on the bench by myself for a few minutes. I liked it because I got to face my parents and we could sing songs and make train sounds.
Ever since we got off the train, I love to pump my arm in the air and yell "choo-choo!" whenever someone asks me about my train ride. I had a great time!!

Cheers!
Aunt Lindsey has been working on getting me to say "cheers" since I had my baby bottle. I've slowly been picking it up and now I like to initiate a "cheers" when I'm drinking with someone. Take a look:

Easter!
I got all dressed up for Easter!
I got dressed just like my Daddy and I loved it!
I had a big day; I got to visit all of my extended family! I got quite a few Easter baskets throughout the day and was excited to play with all of my new surprises!!
First we went to Grandpa Mike and Nona Penny's house. I liked being silly and playing under the table.
Here is a picture of me with my Mommy and Daddy.
Next, we went to Grandma Lynn's house!
| I gave my Aunt Lindsey a big hug! |
The whole family got into playing with my blocks and balls, which made me laugh a lot!
I loved eating a lot of treats and going for a walk with Grandpa and the doggy.
After I played and laughed all day long, it was time to put my pajamas on and go to sleep. I had a wonderful Easter; I really loved every minute of my day! :)

Easter Morning
When I woke up on Easter morning, my parents showed me the Easter Basket that the Easter Bunny left for me! I was so excited to see it; I was even more excited that I got to play with everything inside of it!
I called the bunny "hop hop" and couldn't believe that it was made of chocolate! I tried my very first chocolate bunny and I loved it!
I took the trucks out of the basket and wanted to play with them right away! I chose one to be "Mom-Mom," one to be "Da" and I played with one. I laughed and laughed as they zoomed across the floor.
My parents and I played for a while until it was time for our indoor egg hunt. I wasn't sure at first of what was inside of the eggs, until I shook them.
I shook each egg by my ear to hear that there were treats inside!
I quickly got the hang of it and loved running around the house, opening each egg and eating the treat right away before placing the empty egg in the basket.
I had an amazing Easter morning with my parents!

Easter Eggs
I colored Easter eggs for the first time on the day before Easter. I was really excited when I saw all of the supplies; I couldn't wait to get started!
I took my time coloring on the eggs and happily plopped them into the colored dye.
The eggs started to change colors and I got very excited! I wanted to reach my hand in there and grab the colored egg. I soon realized that this made my hands change colors!
I wasn't quite sure of what to think of my multi-colored hands; I kept showing them to my parents. The dye only lasted until bath time and I was proud of the eggs that I colored!
