Swim Class!

I have been taking swimming lessons for the past month. It is so much fun! I get to see other kids my age and I get to splash around in the water and sing songs. 

There is a shallow area where I get to walk in the water! 

I jump off of the edge into the pool and make a big splash! 

My Mommy wraps me in a noodle so I can practice my 'scoop arms' and kick my legs. 

I concentrate when I am practicing my kicks! I love being in the water and am happy that I get to swim with my Mommy and friends each week! 

Grandpa Neal's Birthday!

We went to Grandpa Neal's house last week to give him his birthday gifts! He really liked his presents and I got to play with some new toys at his house, too!! We had lots of fun wrestling a giant monkey and reading a new book. He and I had almost-matching shorts on!

My 1st Indians Game!

The Cleveland Indians played against the Detroit Tigers and I got to go watch the game! As soon as we got into the stadium, I kept looking around at all the people and excitement going on. I was so amused! 

We got to our seats and started watching the game. It was a little sunny at first, but I didn't want to keep my hat on.

We went to the game with my buddy, Blake, and his parents. I think I look silly in this picture; I didn't want to look away from the game for the photo! 

I dropped my Sno-Kone spoon, so I got to bite it! It was yummy!

I thought I was really cool when I got to sit in my own seat. I kept looking at the people behind us and saying, "Hi!"

 I watched the game until I got too sleepy and it was time to leave.

Almost Walking

I'm trying very hard to walk on my own! Crawling is much easier and faster, so it's my choice mode of transportation. But, once I saw how easy it is to walk with my Mickey toy, I've been 'walking' like this a lot more lately.

My Pal, Colt

I got to meet my buddy Colton for the first time! His parents are good friends with my parents, and I've heard a lot about him; he lives out of state, so I didn't get to see him until now. He is 5-weeks-old, which makes me realize that I really am a big boy now! I can't wait until we are older and can get into trouble together! 

Aunt Linz is Getting Married!!

Late Friday night, my Aunt Lindsey called my Mommy on Face Time. She insisted that I join the conversation, too! Luckily, I hadn't fallen asleep yet, so Mommy, Daddy and I had a video-chat with her. She showed us a sparkly ring and told us that she just got engaged! I smiled and we talked to her and Josh for a while. I am very happy that they are going to get married! 

We went to Grandma Lynn's house to celebrate on Sunday. I got to wear a ring-pop that turned my lips blue!

My First Haircut!

On Saturday, July 21st, I got my very first haircut! I went to a kids haircut salon; there were bright colors, posters, televisions and toys everywhere!  I sat on a big frog. I liked it in there until the lady sprayed my hair with very cold water; I started shaking a little, so I got my paci for a minute. Once I saw the cartoons, I was as happy as can be and my haircut turned out great! My parents got to keep my baby curls.

The haircut lady put my hair in a mo-hawk, but I've been wearing it spiked in the front ever since then. I like putting 'product' in my hair! :)

My New Toys!

I've been having SO much fun playing with all of my new toys lately. I get excited every time I see a different one and crawl from one to another taking turns laughing and smiling with each one. I've been playing with everything, but here are a few pictures that my parents were able to capture:

Happy Birthday to Me!!

Today is my 1st birthday! I had a great day!! When I woke up, my parents showed me my birthday gifts from them. I got my very own truck!! I couldn't believe it; I was so excited! I got right in and started steering. I laugh every time the horn makes noise.

 I got some other really cool gifts, too!

I kept saying, "Ohhhh boy!"

Mommy sang "Happy Birthday" to me and gave me a special birthday breakfast.

I spent the day playing with all of my new toys!

 Later, we met Daddy at my favorite restaurant, Red Robin. The waitresses sang to me and gave me an ice cream sundae! I almost ate the whole thing, but Daddy helped a little!

 I got another delicious treat at home when Mommy and Daddy sang to me again!

I had an amazing first birthday!! I can't believe I am one year old!

My 1st Birthday Bash!

My bubble bath themed first birthday party was awesome! We had it at our house; everything was decorated!

I had a bubble bath cake for everyone to enjoy.

I even had my own little cake all to myself!

We had lots of yummy desserts!

There was a special 'baby buffet'set up for my friends to enjoy party hats, bubbles and baby snacks!

Pictures of me from each month of the year were out for everyone to see how I have grown!

There were tables and chairs set up under a tent outside.

Lots of yummy food was set up inside.

While the grown-ups were setting up, Uncle Nick decided to give me my birthday present before the party started! It was a blue motorcycle. I was SO excited to ride on it!!

Then it was party time! I got into my first birthday outfit for the day!

A few more party details...

The guests began to arrive and I got to see everyone who wanted to come celebrate with me! I took it all in as people gave me hugs and kisses and told me, "happy birthday!"

After everyone got to the party and ate some yummy food, it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" and eat some cake! I changed into my cake-eating-outfit and went outside for the fun.

There were a lot of people singing, watching and taking pictures of me!

After we blew out the candles, my parents brought me over to my high chair to eat my own smash cake.
I really love cake, but I couldn't take my eyes off of the huge crowd that was watching me. I really felt the pressure! I was prepared-- my high chair was decorated and I even practiced smashing a cake last weekend with Mommy, Grandma and Aunt Lindsey!

I tasted a little bit of cake by myself, but then I looked up and saw about 65 cameras and cell phones pointing my direction and got scared. I didn't want to eat it on my own in my high chair, so Mommy held me while she and Daddy fed me the cake. I liked that a lot better!

It tasted really yummy!!

After a little while, once some of the eyes were off of me, I sat on the blanket on the ground and ate some more cake.

Later, I took a break from the heat and played inside! I played on the stairs and hid behind the staircase of bubbles!

I got to open some of my birthday gifts! Every single part of the gifts excited me. I loved the cards, the wrapping paper and the gifts inside! 

The other kids watched me open the gifts. The big kids showed me how the toys worked. I showed my buddies what I got!

I took a bottle break from opening presents. After everyone left and I had my birthday bath, I got to open the rest of them in my pajamas with my parents! I am a very lucky boy to have so many cool things and to have so many people who wanted to celebrate with me!
