The Day-After-Christmas 2012!

I woke up on the day after Christmas feeling a little run-down and I had a fever. Once my medicine kicked in, I felt a little better and had some energy to play. We went to Grandma Penny and Grandpa Mike's house to celebrate Christmas with them!  I had fun seeing them and Aunt Jen and Uncle Dominick, who were in town for the holidays. They all must have known that I was a good boy this year, too because they had presents for me to unwrap and play with!

For a long time, I didn't want to let go of my new musical toothbrush!

It was fun to watch everyone open up presents and to look at all of the neat things that I got! After a popsicle to cool me down, I felt a little bit better and was able to walk around and play with all of their Tupperware!

I was happy that I got to celebrate Christmas with everyone! I had a lot of fun spending time with my family. :)

Christmas Day 2012!

When I woke up on Christmas morning, my parents brought me downstairs to see the presents that Santa had left for me under the Christmas Tree! I was still a little sleepy when I first came downstairs, so I stayed in my daily routine of having a full sippy-cup of milk before officially starting my day. I patiently waited, with the presents sitting very close to me, until I was finished drinking.

The first present that I tapped lighted up from inside of the wrapping paper! I couldn't believe it! I had to know what it was, so I ripped the paper off. It was a treasure chest with coins; it lit up and played music. I couldn't get over how cool it was and I wanted to play with it and ignored all of my other presents for a while.

Once I got that out of my system, I opened some more gifts. Santa brought me the greatest gifts! I loved every one!

Later, I ate the extra special Santa pancake that Daddy made especially for me!

I was so caught up in all of the excitement that I didn't realize that there was another gift under the tree! Santa brought me a lawn mower- I couldn't believe it! I wanted it opened immediately! I made dozens of laps around the house with the lawn mower; I only stopped to wave to my adoring fans (my parents) that were cheering me on as I ran.

I brought it everywhere that I went on Christmas morning.

I had so much fun that I fell asleep on the couch watching my favorite Mickey Mouse Christmas movie.
When I woke up, it was time for Grandpa Neal's visit. He surprised me with special gifts since I have been such a good grandson.

Here is a picture of me with my Godparents.

Once again, I was having so much fun playing with all of my new toys that I totally forgot about nap time. I soon started to slow down and Grandpa Neal snuggled me.

I had an amazing Christmas day! I got to stay in my pajamas the entire day! I am so glad that Santa knew that I had been a good boy all year and I got to spend more fun time with my family!

Christmas Eve 2012!

My family celebrated Christmas Eve at Grandma Lynn's house. It was the start of a three-day-long Christmas celebration and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Christmas is a lot of fun for a good little boy like me!

Uncle Nick called me downstairs as soon as we got there to show me the gifts he got me. We immediately started playing with them and I learned how to hit a baseball! (Although I later realized that people laughed more when I hit Uncle Nick in the head with the bat, so I did that more often!) I had SO much fun running around and playing with everyone.

I got to open gifts from everyone and was excited about each one. Everyone was as excited about giving me their gifts as I was about getting them.

Later in the afternoon, more family members came over to celebrate Christmas and to spend time with me and our family. I loved having so many people around me and was excited about playing with them and all of my new toys. Aunt Lindsey chased me and put bright-pink lipstick all over my cheeks and I chased anyone with cookies to share. I was so happy to be surrounded by so many people who love me!

I had a great time celebrating on Christmas Eve with my family!

Cookies for Santa

Mommy, Grandma Lynn, Aunt Lindsey and I got together to make cookies for Santa. Aunt Lindsey got me special Mickey cookies to bake. I was supposed to be helping, but I just couldn't resist!

There was one special cookie that finally made it as 'the one' for Santa. I put sprinkles on it all by myself! (I also put sprinkles all over the floor!) I make a better taste-tester than a helper, but I still had a lot of fun!

17 Months Old!

I am 17 months old!
I was not interested in standing still next to my sign this month; I really wanted to wipe it off with my hand! So, this action shot is what we've got.

Bad Santa

Grandpa Neal, Mary and my parents took me to breakfast with Santa over the weekend. I was very excited to go and was even more thrilled when I saw the buffet of food. With a little help from Grandpa, I ate everything. And, I mean everything! I tried bacon for the first time and was eating cream-puffs off of a fork. It was a really fun time, until it was my turn to see Santa.
I've been practicing my "ho ho ho" for weeks now and I point to him and smile every time I see him in a picture. But, there was something about being placed on his lap that made me scared.

My plan was to tell Santa that I had been a good boy all year, but that didn't work out as planned. Hopefully Santa knows that I am usually a happy little boy, but just didn't like the idea of sitting on a bearded-stranger's lap.
