Happy Birthday, Aunt Lindsey!!

Aunt Lindsey turned 30 years old! Her birthday is September 29th, but we surprised her at the end of August with a birthday party! She was SO surprised! I knew for a long time that we were planning her a surprise party; I helped pick out decorations with Mommy and Grandma.  I was so good at keeping a secret that every time I saw Aunt Lindsey before her party I put my pointer finger up to my mouth and I said, "Shhhh!" She didn't know why until afterwards.

Aunt Lindsey is on vacation today, so I can't see her to wish her a happy birthday, but I'm glad I got to go to her surprise party to celebrate!

I hope Aunt Lindsey has a wonderful 30th birthday!!

Peek-A-Boo Ball

Aunt Lindsey showed up with a big blue ball a few months ago. Although I was amused, I couldn't really carry it around without help. Now that I am walking everywhere, I quickly realized that I can pick the ball up and carry it with me!
That's how my Mommy and I created a really fun peek-a-boo game with the ball. We each squish our faces against opposite sides of the ball; it makes our faces look so silly that we laugh and laugh!
Then, I check to see that her face isn't permanently stuck on the ball; I laugh some more! It is an adorable sound to hear my giggles echo on the rubber ball and watch me smash my face in many ways.
It's a fun game to play on a rainy day when we can't go outside! We do it over, and over, and over again.........

Not My Halloween Costume

I got a costume at the store yesterday, but it is NOT my Halloween costume! I let out a big "roar" when I saw it, so my Mommy thought it would be fun to use at home. When I tried it on, I wasn't sure about how much I liked the dinosaur head resting on my head, but once I saw myself in the mirror, I started roaring like crazy! When Daddy got home from work, we surprised him with me in the costume. We all laughed and laughed!

My Weekend

This weekend was a lot of fun! I am a walking-machine now and I like to walk laps around the house. I have tons of energy and I like when people chase me everywhere; it makes me giggle a lot! It is also a lot of fun to walk outside; I point to all of the doggies and bark at them!

I haven't gotten to see my Aunt Jen and Uncle Dominick in a long time since they live out of state, so it was nice to see them on Friday when they came in town. I got to dance to a lot of fun music!

Of course, I watched the Browns game on Sunday. My parents and I spent the day at Grandma Lynn's house eating yummy food and watching the game. Everyone fought over who got to hold me, so they took turns passing me around.
Emily was in town to visit; she gave me yummy treats and Uncle Nick made me laugh!

Grandma Lynn brought me to see the fun toys upstairs.

It was a great weekend with my parents!

My 1st Power Outage

Early this morning, our lights went out! My parents told me that our power was out. I didn't really know what that meant but I soon realized that it meant I could not see my toys or my books. We had to use flashlights and candles to get ready before we escaped the darkness and went to Grandma Lynn's house for the day. We just put my rain coat over my pajamas and headed out. As usual, it ended up being a very fun day at Grandma's house, and I forgot that the lights were off at home! When we got back, our power was on and I could play with all of my toys again!

Stinker Browns

I stayed awake during the entire Browns game yesterday! I enjoyed watching my Daddy talk to the TV.
We were not very happy with the outcome of the game; it made us make stinker faces!

Share with Bear

Anyone who spends a lot of time with me knows that I don't give my paci up very easily. Even when I'm not using it, I take comfort in knowing it is close by. I love my new bear so much that I offer to share my paci, just for a little bit, with him. I know that I am supposed to put it right at his mouth for him to enjoy it.
Take a look!

Cincinnati

Mommy, Daddy and I took a day trip to Cincinnati. I got to watch cartoons in the car and play with toys I haven't seen before. It was fun to spend the whole day with my parents!
I got to ride on a dinosaur; I roared at it since I now know that dinosaurs say, "roar," too!
I played with a train table and shared the toy trains.

I loved this fountain! Mommy and I took many walking laps around it; I wanted to walk all by myself like a big boy!

Stroller Ride

I'm so glad that my stroller has room for two! I get to have my friends ride along with me through the neighborhood. I got to go on an evening stroll with my friend Taylor; she kept making me laugh! We took turns playing with the blanket and waved to our parents as they walked by.

Browns Game!

The first Cleveland Browns game of the season was on yesterday. I was excited to watch it like a big boy! Even though they lost, I'm still a little Browns fan!

Shoes!

I need shoes that fit me perfectly now that I am trying to walk around outside. So, Mommy and Grandma Lynn took me shoe shopping the other day. It was exhausting for all three of us! I was walking and crawling around the store, trying to take all of the boxes and price tags off of the shelf while Mommy and Grandma were trying to keep all of the different shoe sizes and types in the right boxes.  At first, I cooperated as they tried to put them on my feet, but after a while, I was over it. There were so many shoes!
Grandma Lynn bought me a pretty sweet pair that seemed to fit me the best out of all of the ones that we tried.
I have been trying them out around the house! It is more difficult to walk with shoes on, but I'm practicing a lot!

And, of course, like most other things, I think it is silly when I wear shoes; I laugh a lot when I wear them! :)

Build-A-Bear

My family went to the mall on Sunday; we shopped together for a while before I decided I didn't want to look at clothes anymore! My Daddy and I wandered the halls of the mall while Mommy continued to shop. When we walked by the Build-A-Bear store, I started shaking, kicking my legs, barking and roaring! There were so many different silly-looking animals in the window, I couldn't control myself! Daddy brought me in the store and I was still difficult to control because of my excitement. The lady told us that they did not have any lions, but they had a 'roar' sound that they could put inside of any other animal. I shaked and roared when I saw a simple brown teddy bear, so that was my choice! I watched as she stuffed it and I kissed the heart before she put it inside of him. We call him Roary. Some people might think it's weird that my teddy roars like a lion when I squeeze his hand, but I think it is built just for me! :)
