Where is your...?

I really like when my parents teach me new things; I'm proud to show off that I am learning and know a lot! In this video, I quietly point to things as my parents say them.

Singing & Stirring!

On a typical day, I will pretend to cook in the kitchen a few times. I like to stir with all different types of utensils and pretend to taste what I am making. I always give my Mommy and Daddy a taste, too!  Mommy and I sing songs while we're cooking; sometimes I just listen, other times I sing along. In this video, Mommy caught a short clip of me singing while we were cooking. Some of it is just typical singing, but my favorite part is when I sing nice and high!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!

Happy Birthday to the best Daddy in the world!!!

My Daddy's birthday was on Sunday. I made him a special gift with pictures of us and I helped him blow out his candles. 

I ate a lot of his brownie birthday cake, so I had extra energy. I thought it would be funny to try to dress like Daddy. I tried to put his coat on all by myself, but I eventually needed some help. 

His hat was next. I could put that on by myself!

I am cool just like my Daddy! :)

Disney On Ice!

Uncle Nick and Emily surprised me with tickets to go see Disney On Ice! I had no idea what to expect, but I was happy to get in the car with them to see where they were taking me. 

I got a treat right away- I got to eat a colorful slushie! I couldn't take bites fast enough!

It made my tongue turn different colors!

I was happy and clapping when Mickey and his friends came out on the ice!

With the lights off, I got a little sleepy and took a nap. Uncle Nick told me that I only missed the princess part of the show.

I woke up during intermission, ate some cotton candy and got a cool Flounder hat. I stayed awake for the rest of the show and I was thrilled to be there!

I owe Uncle Nick and Emily a big thank you for taking me to have so much fun!

18 Months!

I am 1 and a half years old! 

I celebrated on Saturday with my parents. My Mommy made me a special half-birthday cake. My parents sang the happy birthday song to me and I helped blow out the candles.

The part that I liked the most was eating the cake! Yummy!

Oh, Boy!

I've been playing with blue balloons and eating blue-frosted cupcakes because we are celebrating that my new little sibling is going to be a BOY!!!

I am so excited to have a little brother to play with and I can't wait for him to get here. He is going to be a great addition to our family!

Wee Tumblers!

I have been going to a new class called "Wee Tumblers." It is a lot of fun to run around, play with new toys, and meet new friends. Take a look at some of the fun things that I get to do! 

(Some of the pictures are a little blurry because I was always on the move!)

 I was having a great time with all of the 1-3 year olds, until I heard music coming from another area and I had to check it out. I wandered into a work-out class for seniors and didn't want to leave. I stood in the back and practiced some of their moves for as long as my Mommy would let me. :)

I am the perfect height to reach things on the kitchen counter and tables! 

 I can't exactly see what I'm reaching for, but I'm always excited about the surprise item that I pull down.

I am really excited about getting taller and learning how to get into all of my parents' things!

"Da Da"

My parents and I were being silly and playing at home, when I decided that I had a lot to say. At first, Daddy was tickling me and making me laugh. I was being a stinker and made silly noises for a couple of my favorite animals. Then, I had a lot to say about my Daddy!

Although my parents really don't know what I was saying, it's possible that I was telling him to give me some more room on MY couch!

Happy New Year 2013!

Happy New Year! 

I celebrated New Year's Eve at my house; my buddy Blake came over with his parents.

We set a "party clock" ahead of time, so midnight came a little early at our house so I could stay up for the excitement!

 We had fun party hats to wear, but I couldn't quite get mine to stay on my head. I tried, though!

I even tried wearing two hats at once; that didn't work very well.

I may not have figured out the party hat, but I did figure out how to drink out of my sippy cup without using any hands! I was very proud of myself and thought I was hilarious. 

"Look Mom! No Hands!"

Blake and I played with all of my new toys until 'midnight.' We counted down and celebrated the new year with kisses to my parents and high-fives to my friends.  Mommy let me sip out of her champagne glass, since she isn't allowed to drink champagne, either!
