Mall Dancing

When Mommy, Grandma Lynn, Aunt Lindsey and I went to the mall, I split my time between the stroller, their arms, and walking around on my own. There were a lot of things that caught my eye as I walked around the mall, but one thing in particular was amusing to me. When we walked by a store for teenagers called Abercrombie, the music was blaring so loudly that everyone near by could hear; as soon as I heard it, I started dancing! I felt the rhythm and danced to the beat. It was a lot of fun- and especially amusing to everyone who was watching!

I could have stayed there for a long time and had my very own toddler-dance-party, but something sparkly in a nearby kiosk caught my eye!

Christmas Trees!

I simply love having Christmas decorations around the house! They catch my eye all the time and I smile and point at them. The Christmas trees are so amazing; the way the lights sparkle just amuses me!

My Mommy decorated the tree while I was napping, so I can't tell that the ornaments come off, but Daddy and I were in charge of putting the star on top! That's a very important job!

I like to touch the ornaments on the tree in our dining room. I know that I am not supposed to take them off, so I point to them and sometimes pet the reindeer ornament.

The best tree of all is the one that I keep in my room! It's my very own tree, it's my very own size and it has my very own ornaments on it! I love looking at each one and touching it. My tree looks especially pretty when the lights are off.

I just love standing back and admiring how beautiful my Christmas tree is!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I celebrated Thanksgiving by visiting family with my parents. I wasn't feeling very well when I woke up on Thanksgiving morning and was already napping by the time the parade started. I was a trooper and got dressed and went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
They gave me a reindeer hat and a toy nativity set. I liked wearing the hat!

Grandpa Mike carried me around a lot, and he even showed me some toys and let me wear a tool belt! I thought I was pretty cool when I was wearing it!  We ate some yummy food, I got mashed potatoes in my nose, played a little bit, and it was time to hit the road to head to Grandma Lynn's house.

I was happy to see everyone when I got to Grandma's house. I thought it was really cool to see the full cooked turkey-- it was almost as big as me!
We ate a delicious Thanksgiving dinner!
I was extra cuddly and let Aunt Lindsey hold me for a long time. She got me a cute penguin toy to cuddle with. I was getting sicker as the evening went on; I just wanted to be held!

Grandma Lynn got me a super-sweet Mickey couch that is just my size! I liked pointing to all of the characters while the grown-ups told me their names.

Since I wasn't feeling well, we had to cancel our sleepover plans and head home early. I was glad to see so many of my family members, but was just too sick to stay up and play with everyone.
I am thankful for all of my family members who love me and took extra special care of me over the weekend!

"Ho! Ho! Ho!"

We have been putting up our Christmas decorations during the past week. Since I am a little older this year, I am way more into them then I was last year. I love looking at the lights and have found a new love for the jolly, bearded-man dressed in red: Santa! I point to him every time I see him around the house or in a store; I have recently learned what he says and I point while saying, "Ho! Ho! Ho!"  I even use my low-voice to say it. My parents tell me that he is going to bring me presents, but I don't quite understand that, yet.

I am on the move all the time, which makes me a little difficult to catch with the camera!

Using a Fork

I am used to eating with my hands, but it leaves my fingers pretty sticky. I don't mind them being dirty, but I do mind when my parents try to clean them with a wet cloth! So, we are attempting to use a fork. When I first tried, I thought it was super funny to throw it across the room. But, that didn't make my belly full!

After a few more tries, I agreed to hold the fork, but still wanted to pick up the food with my hands.
I gave the fork a try and realized that it does work! I kept switching off between using the fork and using my fingers.

I might have made even more of a mess, which means that my parents still need to wipe me down after dinner time. At least I got to try something new!

Ball Pit Giggles

I love playing in my ball pit! My Daddy calls it my 'dunk tank' because he always dunks me in and tickles me; I laugh and laugh and laugh! I like to throw the balls at my Mommy when she pops her head through the openings. After throwing them at her for a while, and laughing the whole time, she decided to video me. Take a look!

15-Month Check-Up

I went to the doctor last night for my 15-month check-up visit. This was the first time that I got to stand on the big-boy scale to weigh in instead of laying on the baby scale. I thought it was pretty cool! I was a very good boy for the doctor. He said that I am reaching all of my milestones and I am growing right on track.
Here are my new stats:
Weight: 25.7 pounds
Height: 31.5 inches

What do you mean I need to get 4 shots!?

My 1st Football Game!

I went to my very first football game over the weekend. Uncle Nick was coaching and the game was during the day, so it was a perfect chance for us to get bundled up and watch the game! I liked sitting in the bleachers and looking all around. I got to see both mascots; I thought they were pretty funny! I snuggled up between everyone and stayed alert for the entire game!
We got to go on the field to congratulate Uncle Nick on his team's win. I was so excited to see him!

Happy Halloween!!

I got to celebrate Halloween a few times this year! We were invited to a Halloween party at my friend Taylor's house.  A few of my other buddies were there. We got dressed up in our costumes, played games, and ate snacks. I dressed up as a puppy dog!!

I was Pluto! My Mommy and Daddy dressed up as Minnie and Mickey Mouse. I liked seeing them in their costumes!

Here are a few more pictures from the Halloween party:

On the night of trick-or-treat, the weather was too cold and rainy for me to go outside. So, I got dressed in my puppy costume again and helped my parents pass out candy.

I liked being able to take as many pieces of candy out of the bowl as I wanted!
I looked out the window and watched the costumed kids walk along the sidewalk.

After a while, I got sleepy and decided to snuggle with my Mommy on the couch while Daddy finished passing out the candy. It was a fun night!

I thought I would attempt to go trick-or-treating one more time at Grandma Lynn's house, but it was even colder! So, I helped her pass out candy to the kids, too!
Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Nick kept sneaking chocolate to me when my Mommy wasn't looking! It was soo yummy!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year!!
Woof! Woof!
