The Zoo!

We had one very warm day last week, so we took advantage of it and went to the zoo! Mommy and I went with my buddy, Blake, and his Mom. The first thing that we got to see were the penguins! I thought they were so cool! I especially liked them because I could walk right up to them and see them through the glass at my level.

I carried the zoo map with me most of the time. I kept showing it to my Mommy, to make sure she knew that I was still leading the way!
Blake and I got pushed around in our strollers most of the time.

We got to go on a train ride! It was so fun!

There was a maze made just for kids, and I got to walk around in it.
I thought I was cool because I was wearing flip-flops!

I got to ride on the lion on the carousel. I held on tight and liked looking all of the other animals going up and down.

Leaves!

I think leaves are just about the coolest thing outside. I love watching them fall from the trees and I try to catch them.  Once they are on the ground, I make sure to step on each one as I walk down the sidewalk. I can stay outside for a long time because I love to play in the leaves. I even got to pick a bright red leaf off of a tree in our yard. I was so excited about it!

15 Months Old!

I am 15 months old!

I insisted on holding my baby-cheetos during my picture. Take a look at how that turned out:

Madigascar 3

I was sitting on the couch with my parents when something on the TV caught my eye; it was a commercial for the movie Madigascar 3.  I started yelling at the TV and pointing to it. My parents thought it was funny, so they rewound the television and showed it again. I was still pretty excited.

I loved it so much that we went to the store to get the movie the next day. It even came with a rainbow wig- I think I look silly when I wear it!

You're probably wondering how I liked the movie?
Well...
I fell asleep 15 minutes after it started. :)
I'll give it a try another time!

Aunt Linz & Josh's Engagement Party!

We had a party to celebrate Aunt Lindsey and Josh's engagement! I was very excited to see everyone. I got dressed up in my cool new outfit. (You may recognize it as the winning look from Season 10 of Project Runway)

I got to play with Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Josh. They squeezed me a lot!

Here is a picture of Aunt Lindsey, Mommy, Grandma, me and Uncle Nick.
During the party, I ran around like a wild-child. I got to play with everyone and I tricked people into giving me a bite of their desserts. They were so yummy!
In this picture, I was digging my hand into a delicious cupcake that Daddy was sharing with me!

Later in the evening, Aunt Lindsey and Josh gave me a shirt with a note attached. They asked me to be the ring-bearer in their wedding!! They gave me a t-shirt that says "Bling Security" on the front and my last name on the back. I put it on right away and wore it proud throughout the rest of the party.

I danced to the music with Aunt Lindsey. It was very fun until I got a little sleepy and had to slow-dance with her.

I quickly caught my second wind and ran around Uncle Nick's basement with his hat on. I was making everyone laugh. It was fun to have so many people want to play with me. I stayed up way past my bed time... and I loved every minute of it!

Hayride!

I went on my very first hayride on Friday! There was a family-friendly hayride at the park near us, so my parents took me! We went with my buddy, Blake, and his parents. I got bundled up in my coat, hat and mittens. Once we were on the hayride, I realized how much I like mittens! I think they are really silly. I was waving my arms in the air showing everyone the silly sock-like contraptions that were staying on my hands! I gave lots of high-fives.  It got dark outside and I could see all of the pumpkins and skeletons lit up along the path. I bundled up in a blanket and took turns on my Mommy's lap and my Daddy's lap. It was a lot of fun!

Can you see my head popping through there?

Here is a picture of me and Blake waiting in line for the hayride.

Carving My Pumpkin!

I was really excited to touch my pumpkin... until my parents cut it open. It smelled funny and it looked gross and weird inside. They took my clothes off, in preparation for a big mess, but I wasn't so sure about digging in there with my hands.
They showed me the seeds and orange goo that was inside. I still wasn't sure what to think.

My crazy parents thought I might actually consider putting my feet in there. I bent my legs as quickly as I could!

Daddy let me take a closer look...
I was curious.

Then, Mommy showed me how to use the spoon to scoop out the insides. I got to hold the spoon and put it inside of the pumpkin. It was awesome! The spoon quickly turned into my drumstick and I banged on the pumpkin over and over.

It turned out to be a lot of fun after all!!

Pumpkin!

Mommy, Daddy and I went to pick out a perfect pumpkin for me! I got bundled up and looked around at all of the bright orange pumpkins. I liked touching each stem. We picked one out and brought it home. They tell me we get to carve it soon; I can't wait!

Hi!

Whenever I FaceTime with someone, I like the time right before we connect when I get to look at myself. I smile at that handsome baby in the phone and say, "hi!"  My Mommy decided to video my interaction between my real-self and my phone-reflection.

Close to Candy

My Mommy and I went to the mall with my friend, Taylor, and her mom. It was fun to walk around with another toddler. We shared our snacks and laughed at silly things in the store windows. We were most excited by the fact that we could actually reach these candy machines all by ourselves! We're both too young to eat any of the candy safely, but we checked every single opening just in case there was some candy left over. We didn't find anything, but it was a lot of fun to play with!

A Little More Energy!

I'm starting to feel a little bit better. I have even been starting to get a little bit more energy.
I was able to play football with Grandma and Mommy a little bit. I had to rest afterwards, but it was fun to be up and playing again.

After a long nap, I was able to play with the balloon. (By 'play with,' I mean attack Delilah and Daddy!)

Sick :(

I have Croup! It is not fun at all. My throat is scratchy when I try to talk and I make raspy sounds when I breathe. I cough and sneeze a lot and I am not in my typical good mood. I've been cuddling a lot and watching a LOT of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on TV. My Mommy, Daddy and Grandma Lynn have been taking good care of me over the past couple of days. I've been sick since Sunday, and I am finally starting to feel a little bit better.

Pumpkin Patch

I went to the pumpkin patch this weekend!! My parents took me along with Uncle Nick and Emily.
I went there last year, too; but this year I was old enough to walk around and enjoy it even more!
Look how much I have grown:

I pointed to all of the big pumpkins and was excited to see everything!

There was a petting zoo! I didn't pet any of the animals, but I loved looking at them. I wasn't quite sure what animal noises to make when I saw the goat. I thought it was silly, though!

We went into a giant corn maze!

Here is a picture of Daddy and Mommy with me inside the corn maze.

I liked holding Uncle Nick and Daddy's hands.
The corn maze was dinosaur-shaped. I roared at all of the signs throughout the maze that had dinos on them.

Emily, Uncle Nick and I celebrated once we made it out of the maze!

There were a lot of other cool things for me to check out. I wanted to touch or walk on everything!

We watched the balloons take off, had some snacks, and went home. It was SO much fun!!
