Happy Birthday, Papa... According to Tyler

Our Papa came over to visit and we celebrated his birthday!  He played with Logan and me and I got to get a close-up view as he opened his birthday present.  Logan and Papa played with trucks around me while I kicked and smiled.

The Zoo... According to Logan

 
















My Mommy took me to the zoo with some of my friends Taylor and Blake!  I was very excited to go, and was happy to be there with Tyler since it was his first time at the zoo.  Tyler fell asleep right when we got there, so he missed out on seeing the animals, but I was wide awake and ready to go! 

 

I loved saying, "hi" to the animals and calling them by name when I walked up to them.  I held Taylor's hand most of the time while I walked through the zoo.  We wanted to stay together and talked about the animals while we walked.  It was so much fun having a toddler-talk conversation with her! 

 

We got up close to so many animals! I was excited about each one and made sure that my Mommy got to see them, too!

 

If anyone asks me about my zoo trip, I am sure to tell them about the sleeping jaguar, that I got to ride on the lion, I watched the penguins swim in the water, and I got my own bucket of popcorn.  I love telling everyone about my adventure at the zoo; I'm sure that I don't leave out any details!! 

Doctor... According to Tyler

My family and I went to the doctor for my two-month check up and for Logan's two-year check up. 

Logan's turn was first.  He acted extra shy for a while, but was cooperative when the doctor looked in his eyes and ears and happily opened his mouth to say, "ahhh" when the doctor asked him. 

Here are Logan's new stats:

Height: 35 inches

Weight: 29.8 pounds

 

 

 

Next, it was my turn.  The doctor gave me a check-up and I got a healthy report! My muscle tone is great and I smiled at my Mommy while the doctor checked me out.  I was a very well behaved boy, just like my brother!

Here are my new stats:

Height: 24 inches

Weight: 14 pounds 8 inches

 

I didn't mind being at the doctor's office at all... until the nurses came in to give me my shots.  My brother didn't warn me at all; but he seemed very happy that he didn't need to get any.  He was concerned for me while I was crying because it hurt when they poked me in my thighs!  I was sore for a while after we got home, but I am now all better.

I'm happy to know that my brother and I are growing, strong and healthy boys!

Slide... According to Logan

During most summer evenings, I meet my buddies outside after dinner.  We all run around from house to house, playing with each other's toys and chasing each other.  Here is a video of me playing on my friend Blake's slide.  We had fun cheering each other on while we took turns!

2-Months Old... According to Tyler!

I am 2 months old!

Aunt Jen's Birthday... According to Logan

We went to Nona Penny & Grandpa Mike's house to celebrate Aunt Jen's birthday!  I got to play outside with all of Daddy's old Tonka Trucks.  It was a lot of fun! Tyler was awake for a lot of the party, and everyone was happy to see his bright eyes open!

 

As soon as Mommy told me that we were going to celebrate Aunt Jen's birthday, I started talking about blowing out the candles.  I wanted to help! So, I asked Aunt Jen and she told me I could help blow them out; I am getting pretty good at that!!

My 2nd Birthday Party... According to Logan

Oh "Two"-Dles!!

My parents threw me a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed birthday party!

I got excited to see each and every decoration as it went up in the house.  I loved running around, pointing to the decorations and saying, "Oooooh!"

 

Since I like the Hot Dog Dance so much, my Mommy decided to have a Hot Diggity Dog Bar! There were fun plates and lots of toppings for the hot dogs. Yum!

Our backyard was decorated, too! I even have a new bounce house castle to play on!

Once the guests started to arrive, I took turns going inside and outside, playing with everyone that was there.  I was so excited to have all of my favorite people around me.

I had practiced blowing out my candle a lot, so when it came time for everyone to sing to me, I was ready!!  Everyone sang to me and then I got to eat my yummy cupcake!

 

 

 

 

 

My birthday party was amazing!!!

I loved every single part of the day! I kept saying, "Thanks!" to my parents because I was so excited about everything that they planned for me.  I am growing quickly but I am turning into such a fun, smart and kind boy.  I had so much fun at my birthday party!!
