Peter Cotton Tail... According to Logan

Anyone who was around me for more than five minutes over the past couple of months got a chance to hear me sing my favorite Easter song! "Peter Cotton Tail" (or as I call it, "Easter Cotton Tail") is heard very often at our house; I sing it to entertain people, cheer my brother up, or when I am making a band.  Here is a short clip of me singing it:

Oh, and in case you are wondering what I was saying at the end... I am hoping that the Easter Bunny would bring me a Jake Guitar so my Mommy can play drums and we can make a band-- it was my own idea and I think it is a great one!

Bunny Babies... According to Tyler

Happy Easter from these baby-bunny-butts!

Since it's my first Easter, Mommy wanted to take a special picture of me being a cute, chubby bunny.  Logan saw me and wanted to get in on the action! Everyone loves my squeezing my thighs, and I think after seeing this picture, I'm going to get a lot of extra squeezes!

Easter Fun... According to Logan

We colored Easter eggs! I couldn't wait; I even skipped my nap so I could get to them sooner!
I loved watching the colors dissolve in the vinegar and was giggling when I got to put the eggs in the bowls!

I put a lot of thought into the designs that I made for each egg.

Tyler even got to color eggs in a baby-proof whisk!

I was SO proud of my eggs when I was done with them!

To add to the Easter fun, Grammy and I made Jello in Easter molds. I was very good at pouring the Jello liquid into the molds. Even though it was difficult, I was also very good at being patient while I waited hours for them to be ready to eat.

I really enjoyed them! Tyler enjoyed squeezing the Jello in his fists; I think he might have gotten a few pieces in his mouth, too.  We have been having a lot of Easter fun!!

Baseball Game... According to Logan

We went to Mommy's cousin Mitch's baseball games.  We piled into the wagon and went to watch the game!

It was a nice weekend, so Tyler got to use the umbrella for shade.  It was his first time with an umbrella, and he thought it was hilarious.

I made a sign for Mitch. I got a front row spot to make sure he saw my sign!

After the game, I got to try on his sunglasses!

The next day, I wanted to practice playing baseball, too! My Daddy and I took turns hitting the baseball off of the tee.  I have a very strong swing!

We went to another baseball game that afternoon. I wanted to be a helpful big brother, so I helped pull Tyler in the wagon. We all laughed but I took my job pretty seriously!

We had a fun brother and baseball filled weekend!

Easter Egg Hunt... According to Logan

My Mommy planned an Easter Egg Hunt with some of the other neighborhood moms.  We all went to three connecting back yards, where the dads hid a bunch of colorful eggs!  I was so excited to see all of the eggs!

I found my first egg and was excited to see what was inside.  The chocolate inside looked so delicious, I didn't even worry about looking for other eggs; I just wanted to eat my new treat!
Tyler just woke up from his nap, so he got pulled around in the wagon for a little while until he was ready to play.

Soon enough, I realized that I can collect more eggs and save the treats for later.

Once we found all of the eggs, we got to sit around and look inside of them! I was super excited with every single surprise!

I got to eat a lot of them.  But, Tyler and his friend kept trying to sneak a bite!

Tyler fits in with all of the kids and is starting to interact and play with everyone!

We had a fun morning at the egg hunt! I went right to sleep as soon as we got home. I have been snacking on the candy that I found inside of my eggs for days now!

New Bike Surprise... According to Logan!

Guess what!? My Mommy and Daddy got me a surprise! I didn't know what it was until they told me to come outside and see what they got me for being such a great big brother.  My shocked open-mouth face says it all; I was thrilled and grateful to have a brand new green bike!!

I look and feel like such a big boy on my new big bike!
I was happy to put on my new helmet and try on the different colored 'eyes' for the Ninja Turtles.

After a few quick fixes to make the bike the perfect size for me, I was off!

Staycation... According to Tyler

Road Trip!!
Our family decided to get away for the weekend in Columbus.  We piled into the car and drove during my morning nap. Logan stayed awake during the drive.
We went to Polaris Mall; we were excited to go to The Disney Store.

We got to look at a lot of fun Disney things. Logan thought he was in heaven with all of his favorite characters around! I was happy with any toy that was within reach! After spending quite a while in the Disney Store, we each were eager to try out our new toys before we even left the mall!

I went to a hotel for the very first time! After lunch and a quick nap, my brother and I got our bathing suits on to go swimming in the indoor pool.
We were excited about this, and my brother (as usual) gave me a lot of hugs!
Uncle Nick and Emmy were in town, so they met us to play! We had so much fun splashing in the water!!

Emmy helped us take these after-swimming-selfies back in our hotel room before we got ready for dinner!

When we went to dinner, Logan got to help make homemade guacamole! He thought it tasted even better than usual because he made it. I was bummed that I didn't get to taste it, but I ate everything else in sight!

After a long night at the hotel, my brother and I rolled around and laughed in the big hotel bed. We have so much fun together!!

The four of us went to breakfast and had fun in a zoo-themed play area. I kept up with all of the big kids, while my brother learned that going down the slide head-first makes it even more fun!

We made one more stop at the Lego Store and met Uncle Nick and Emmy again for ice cream. Logan got his own bowl of blue ice cream with sprinkles, so I took any opportunity to take bites; when everyone was looking at Mommy, saying, "cheese," I turned my head and got a huge bite of Uncle Nick's ice cream!!

We had SO much fun at our little getaway.  My brother and I loved spending time with my family and doing new things.
