Easter Eggs

I colored Easter eggs for the first time on the day before Easter. I was really excited when I saw all of the supplies; I couldn't wait to get started! 

I took my time coloring on the eggs and happily plopped them into the colored dye. 

The eggs started to change colors and I got very excited! I wanted to reach my hand in there and grab the colored egg. I soon realized that this made my hands change colors!

I wasn't quite sure of what to think of my multi-colored hands; I kept showing them to my parents. The dye only lasted until bath time and I was proud of the eggs that I colored! 

The Easter Bunny

I've been hearing a lot of talk about the Easter Bunny lately. I'm getting used to pointing him out in the decorations around me and love showing everyone that I can say "hop" and jump around like a bunny. I was super excited to go to the mall to visit the Easter Bunny; when I saw him, I wasn't so excited anymore. I liked looking at him and giving him high-fives, but when my parents placed me on his lap, I wanted off immediately! I didn't cry but I made it very clear that I didn't want this strange-looking-furry-giant holding me. So, I don't have a picture with the real bunny but I have no problem showing affection toward my pretend Easter Bunny at home!

He must know that I love to play pretend with food because he shares his carrot with me!

I give him kisses and hugs.

He even snuggles with me and helps me fall asleep at nap time. 

20 Months!

I am 20 months old today! I am a happy boy who loves to play and am learning new words every day!

Gym Class

I started going to a new gym class a few weeks ago. There are so many awesome things for me to play with there! 

I love to crawl through the tunnels. I laugh every time I see my Mommy on the other side.

I'm getting so good at balancing! The teachers have us wear name tags on the backs of our shirts. I forget that it is there after a while.

I like to practice climbing, marching and jumping.

I am so strong!

Slide!

The weather warmed up a little bit this weekend, so we got outside to play! I absolutely LOVED my slide!! Take a look!

Mr. Fix-It

Over the past few weeks, I have been watching my Daddy use his tools in our basement. At first, I quietly observed; later, I grabbed the tools and knew just what to do with each one! I follow him around and try to do exactly what he is doing. Sometimes, the real tools are too dangerous and I unwillingly have to switch to my toy-tools. I still end up having a lot of fun pretending to fix my toys!

I thought I was so cool when Mommy and I went downstairs for a few minutes and I got to help paint!

I have to concentrate to get the screw-driver in the exactly right spot. I can do it, though!

When my parents ask how long something that I have measured is, I usually reply, "It's this," as I point to the tape measure. 

When I need to leave the grown-up tools alone, I use my toy-tools to fix my toys. I'm working on hammering my slide!
