Ride at the Mall

My buddy Blake and I hung out at the mall today. Our moms were cramping our style by making us ride in our strollers, so we were happy to take a break in a sports car. 

A group of pretty girls walked by, and Mommy caught our reaction on camera:

Snow!

The falling snow caught my eye when I noticed it out the window. I kept pointing to it, so my Mommy took me outside to get a closer look. I wasn't quite sure of what I thought about it at first, but I liked watching it fall and land on my coat. I only lasted about a minute before I was ready to go in, but I sure thought it was cool!

Helping with Housework

I love to be by my Mommy's side at all times; when she tries to do work around the house, my desire to be her sidekick doesn't change. So, I have become a good helper! Well, I'm good in my opinion, if 'good helper' means taking folded laundry and spreading it all over the floor or attempting to crawl into the dishwasher. 

Today I helped Mommy bake cookies by making a pretend batch on my own. 

I also helped her do laundry by pretending to actually be the laundry. 

It was all fun and games until I realized that I didn't exactly know how to get out of the laundry basket without landing on my head. 

I needed a little assistance, and I was back to happily playing!

Piano Player

I'm the perfect height to reach the keys of the piano at Grandma Lynn's house. I make some music by myself, but I like it better when the grown ups play along so I can hear fun songs. In this video, I get to join in while Grandma and Aunt Lindsey are playing. I think I make the song sound even better!

Disney Characters

I love Mickey Mouse! I watch him on TV and play with his toys; when I do, I point to the different characters and my Mommy tells me which character I'm pointing to. We have been doing this for a little while now, but my parents were still surprised last night when they realized that I was paying attention and learning from them! I know all of the names of the Disney characters and I prove it by pointing to them on my new Mickey couch!


I am a very smart 16-month old!

Mall Dancing

When Mommy, Grandma Lynn, Aunt Lindsey and I went to the mall, I split my time between the stroller, their arms, and walking around on my own. There were a lot of things that caught my eye as I walked around the mall, but one thing in particular was amusing to me. When we walked by a store for teenagers called Abercrombie, the music was blaring so loudly that everyone near by could hear; as soon as I heard it, I started dancing! I felt the rhythm and danced to the beat. It was a lot of fun- and especially amusing to everyone who was watching!





I could have stayed there for a long time and had my very own toddler-dance-party, but something sparkly in a nearby kiosk caught my eye!

Christmas Trees!

 I simply love having Christmas decorations around the house! They catch my eye all the time and I smile and point at them. The Christmas trees are so amazing; the way the lights sparkle just amuses me!

My Mommy decorated the tree while I was napping, so I can't tell that the ornaments come off, but Daddy and I were in charge of putting the star on top! That's a very important job! 

I like to touch the ornaments on the tree in our dining room. I know that I am not supposed to take them off, so I point to them and sometimes pet the reindeer ornament. 

The best tree of all is the one that I keep in my room! It's my very own tree, it's my very own size and it has my very own ornaments on it! I love looking at each one and touching it. My tree looks especially pretty when the lights are off. 

 I just love standing back and admiring how beautiful my Christmas tree is!
