We went to Disney World!!!!!
Mommy and Daddy surprised us in the morning with all of our Disney stuffed animals; they told us that we needed to get ready because we were leaving for the airport right away!
We had enough time to eat our special Mickey Mouse pancakes before getting ready to go. We waited for Grammy to get to our house, and we headed to the airport!
Grammy told us that she wanted to bring us to Disney World because we are such good boys! We are so thankful that she put this whole trip together for us- and we couldn't wait to get started!
We were SO excited. We had no idea what was in store for us, but everything that Grammy and our parents described sounded so amazing!
We had fun exploring the airport! On the airplane, Logan was content with the iPad and headphones. Tyler played at first, before sleeping most of the trip in Grammy's arms!
We made it to Florida! The weather was warm and sunny! We got on Mickey's Magical Express bus and went to our resort. It is called Art of Animation... and we had no idea how cool it was until we got there! We felt like we were in a cartoon! We LOVED running around and checking out all of the awesome decorations.
There are four theme sections to our resort, and since we adore the Cars movies and characters, we stayed there! There were so many awesome themed things in our room, too! We had to get out of our airplane clothes and relax for the next day of fun!
Logan thought knew that he was super cool in his own Mater bed!
Tyler and Mommy were up early the next morning, and he kept looking out the window, whispering, "wow!"
We got our Monsters Inc. shirts on and got ready for Magic Kingdom!!!
We got to go on the Buzz Light Year ride twice! It was super fun because we got to shoot lasers at the evil Zurg.
We met Stitch! He was our first autograph in our autograph books.
We saw a few more attractions before we just HAD to stop to taste a yummy treat! It was messy, but so so delicious!
The next ride that we went on was the Dumbo ride, which ended up being Tyler's favorite ride! While Logan and Daddy were going up and down in their elephant, Tyler finally realized how to move the lever to jerk the elephant up really high. He thought it was hilarious!
Tyler went to the water fun with Grammy while Logan went with Mommy and Daddy to his very first roller coaster! He couldn't believe that he was tall enough- it was especially exciting because it was Goofy's roller coaster!
It was pretty fast! Logan was wide-eyed through the ride. Once we got off, he said, "I forgot to put my hands in the air!"
We had so much fun exploring the park!
We went to the Monsters' Comedy show. It was so silly!
Next, it was time for racing! Logan could not believe that he was actually tall enough to drive a real race car!! He picked Grammy as his lucky passenger and away the went! Mommy drove Daddy and Tyler- they were able to get a few picture of Logan while he drove.
We all agreed that the boys deserved a 'trophy' prize for that awesome driving. Plus, the sun was getting in their eyes, so it was time to pick out new hats! Logan fell in love with this Goofy hat as soon as he saw it! We tried and tried to get Tyler to pick a hat, but he refused to wear one!
(Once Logan put this hat on, he never took it off..,.)
We worked up quite an appetite! We went to a great restaurant, where Logan and Tyler took it upon themselves to dance. They laughed and played with each other!
Next, we got to meet Goofy and Donald Duck!!!
We were both super excited, but Tyler could hardly stand it! He just needed to get to Donald Duck!
Goofy thought Logan's Goofy hat was great! He offered to autograph it! Logan just couldn't believe it! Goofy actually signed his hat!
It was awesome meeting Donald. He gave us lots of hugs. Tyler didn't want to leave him!
It was SO hot out! So, we decided to run around in the play area. Logan didn't want to ruin his shirt, so he asked to take it off. He played with all the kids and had SO much fun!
We loved going on the "It's a Small World" ride. We all got to sit next to each other and ride in the boat!
We LOVED Magic Kingdom! We had so much fun, but it was time to come back to the resort to hang out for a while! We rested for a little bit in our room, then played at our resort. We got to run around the characters and scenes from The Little Mermaid, Lion King, Finding Nemo... and of course Cars!! We had a blast!
The next morning, we all woke up super early. We went outside and explored the resort some more! We even found a playground!
(We explored so much that Tyler fell asleep as soon as we got back inside!)
Next, we went to Downtown Disney!! There were so many fun things to do there!!
Goofy's Candy Factory...
Dinosaur Fossil Digging.....
The Lego Store...
They were having a race outside of the Lego store. All the kids got to create their own car using Legos. Daddy helped Logan make his. When it was time to race, we cheered on Logan's car... and... it won the race!!! It was awesome!! We spent a lot of time at the Lego store, because it was just amazing!
Lunch at The Rain Forest Cafe. We got to sit outside by the water! We played with our new dinosaurs, drank (and cheers-ed) our yummy blue slushies, and loved seeing all the rain forest animals!
Giant Tinker Toys....
After Downtown Disney, we came back to the resort to go swimming!! We wore life vests and spent some time at the Cars pool. It was SO fun!!
I spy Tyler in the orange cone cabana....
Later that night, we had dinner and played some more!
Grammy got us Cars pajamas to match our hotel room!!
The next morning, we were up and ready to go to Hollywood Studios!
As soon as we got in, we spotted Daisy Duck! She was so cute and we were excited to see her and to get her autograph!
We had special reservations at Disney Junior's Play and Dine... where we got to eat brunch with our favorite Disney Junior characters! We could NOT believe that we were actually seeing them! Logan was in awe when Jake the pirate came to our table to say hello. A big hug from Jake made Logan smile! A kiss on the cheek from Doc McStuffins made Logan smile even bigger- and blush! Logan and Tyler got to hold hands with Sofia- she looked so beautiful! Even Handy Manny was awesome to give a high-five to!
In between characters, we got to dance in a show! We were in a parade, right by Doc McStuffins! Logan was the star of the show when he was dancing, clapping and singing with the performers. It was beyond exciting and fun!!
We LOVED all of the shows at Hollywood Studio! We got pretty used to wearing the 3-D glasses! Our favorite ride was the Toy Story Mania ride!
The "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" exhibit was like a giant wonderland for us to play in! We loved all of the slides, climbing through the tunnels, and jumping up and down. We could have stayed in there all day!
While Tyler took a short nap in Daddy's arms, Logan got to meet the characters from The Incredibles! They were impressed by Logan's muscles!!
Next, we went to Disney Junior Live! It was a show about Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse- all of our favorite characters were there and we sang and danced along. We yelled, "Oh Toodles!" to help plan a surprise party for Minnie! I couldn't believe that I caught real gold doubloons!
We saw a few more shows at Magic Kingdom, before we came back to our resort to play! We absolutely loved playing and laughing together throughout the whole vacation!
We got our bathing suits on and headed to the Finding Nemo splash pad! Logan was super brave and ran around, chasing all of the water as it squirted out! Tyler thought it was hilarious when the water would come out, but he wanted to keep his distance.
The next morning, we headed to a special restaurant called Chef Mickey's! We got to eat any of the yummy food that we wanted, and each of the characters visited our table! They were dressed as chefs, and we loved seeing them, giving them high fives, and getting their autographs. Logan even gave Minnie Mouse a kiss on the cheek!
We spent the rest of our last day running around and playing at our resort. We even slipped in a quick nap-- where we slept in the same bed! We spent every last minute having fun with all of the cars. We even went outside at night time with our glow sticks! (We made Grammy a little sleepy over the trip, so when we came back in from playing at night, we decorated her with our glow sticks! That made her laugh!)
The next morning, we got ready for our airplane ride home. We gave hugs (and a few kisses) to say goodbye to our resort!
We had the BEST trip... ever!! We are so thankful that we were able to do so much! We talk about our trip constantly and love looking back at the home videos and pictures!
