New Bike Surprise... According to Logan!

Guess what!? My Mommy and Daddy got me a surprise! I didn't know what it was until they told me to come outside and see what they got me for being such a great big brother.  My shocked open-mouth face says it all; I was thrilled and grateful to have a brand new green bike!!

I look and feel like such a big boy on my new big bike!
I was happy to put on my new helmet and try on the different colored 'eyes' for the Ninja Turtles.

After a few quick fixes to make the bike the perfect size for me, I was off!

Staycation... According to Tyler

Road Trip!!
Our family decided to get away for the weekend in Columbus.  We piled into the car and drove during my morning nap. Logan stayed awake during the drive.
We went to Polaris Mall; we were excited to go to The Disney Store.

We got to look at a lot of fun Disney things. Logan thought he was in heaven with all of his favorite characters around! I was happy with any toy that was within reach! After spending quite a while in the Disney Store, we each were eager to try out our new toys before we even left the mall!

I went to a hotel for the very first time! After lunch and a quick nap, my brother and I got our bathing suits on to go swimming in the indoor pool.
We were excited about this, and my brother (as usual) gave me a lot of hugs!
Uncle Nick and Emmy were in town, so they met us to play! We had so much fun splashing in the water!!

Emmy helped us take these after-swimming-selfies back in our hotel room before we got ready for dinner!

When we went to dinner, Logan got to help make homemade guacamole! He thought it tasted even better than usual because he made it. I was bummed that I didn't get to taste it, but I ate everything else in sight!

After a long night at the hotel, my brother and I rolled around and laughed in the big hotel bed. We have so much fun together!!

The four of us went to breakfast and had fun in a zoo-themed play area. I kept up with all of the big kids, while my brother learned that going down the slide head-first makes it even more fun!

We made one more stop at the Lego Store and met Uncle Nick and Emmy again for ice cream. Logan got his own bowl of blue ice cream with sprinkles, so I took any opportunity to take bites; when everyone was looking at Mommy, saying, "cheese," I turned my head and got a huge bite of Uncle Nick's ice cream!!

We had SO much fun at our little getaway.  My brother and I loved spending time with my family and doing new things.

Easter Bunny... According to Logan

We went to the high school to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny! It was Tyler's first time seeing the bunny, and he was happy to sit on his lap. I brought "Bun Bun," the bunny that I made at Build-A-Bear. I dragged him along by the ear most of the time!

I've come a long way since last year when I refused to even sit on the bunny's lap!

The high school mascot was there, too! Tyler and I were both fans of the big bulldog!
Some of our neighbor friends met us there. I shared the dance floor with Blake and danced around the Easter  Bunny while everyone watched!

Tyler loved watching everyone and everything. I loved getting a  bunny painted on my hand!

I got to eat pancakes, color some pictures, and dance around with my friends. We had a great time seeing the Easter Bunny!!

How much I love you... According to Logan

My Mommy always tells me how much she loves me.  So, I started telling her, "I love you 36," because I think 36 is a pretty big number! Lately, we have been using even bigger numbers! It's pretty funny for me to hear the big numbers and to try to say them!

Tynado... According to Logan

You never know when the Ty-nado is going to strike! Here, he interrupts the video that I was making with Aunt Lindsey:

And, I have a feeling that this is the way that many of our family photos are going to turn out for a while. My smiling baby brother has no fear!

Waving bye-bye... According to Tyler

Recently, I have been waving and saying, "bye-bye" when people are leaving the room.  I usually do it on my own, without any prompting, which means my parents don't always have a chance to video it.  Well, during a snack-time conversation between my Mommy and Logan, Mommy was telling Logan about having to raise his hand when he goes to preschool in the fall; Logan practiced raising his hand. Well, as soon as I saw his hand up in the air, I assumed he was waving goodbye.  This caused quite a bit of confusion, but at least my Mommy was able to capture my bye-bye wave.
Take a look at our 'kitchen confusion!'
