Hospital Visitors... According to Tyler

Hi, I'm Tyler!  My big brother Logan has offered to share his blog with me so I can scrapbook the happenings of my life right along with his.  

 

During my three-night stay at the hospital, I got to meet so many smiling faces. I soon realized that they were my family and they were just as excited to see me as I was to see them. I was passed around from family member to family member, whether I was sleeping or bright-eyed.

Meeting Tyler

Uncle Nick brought me to the hospital to meet Tyler a few hours after he was born.  My grandparents and aunts and uncle had already met him, so they were all excited to see the two brothers together!  I was super excited to see my Mommy and Daddy and then they showed me Tyler.  I didn't know what to think at first; I let my Daddy hold me while Mommy held the baby.  I called him "baby" and kept looking at him.  I got to touch his hand, too!  I was concerned when I saw the nurses doing weird things to my Mommy, and I kept a close eye on her.  Soon enough, I was no longer shy and I ran around the hospital room looking at the baby along with all of the other interesting hospital-things.

The Boys!

Welcome, Baby Tyler!!

On Friday, May 31st, my Mommy and Daddy went to the hospital with Aunt Lindsey and Grandma Lynn.  I stayed home and played with Uncle Nick.  They told me that they were going to get my baby brother. I didn't know what to expect until later that day!

 I am happy to introduce Tyler Alexander DeMarsh... my little brother!!

 Tyler was born at 8:41 a.m. on May 31st, 2013.  

He weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz.

He is 21 inches long.

Mommy had a c-section; Daddy was there the whole time. Everything went well and even though Tyler was crying, I know he was excited to meet them!

My parents tell me that Tyler was a perfect baby in the hospital! He barely cried and slept a lot. He is perfectly healthy and as cute as can be! Everyone is thrilled to finally meet him and loves him to pieces!

Parade... According to Logan

 I went to my very first parade on Memorial Day! I haven't stopped talking about it since I got back. There were a few things that stuck out to me: the fox that waved to me, the choo-choo train, the horses and the big trucks.

 I took it all in and waved to the people in the parade as they drove by.

 I was very excited when I got my very own blue balloon dog. I ran around showing it to everyone!

I really like telling people about what I saw.  Mommy understands (mostly) everything that I say, so she helps me explain in this video.

22 Months Old!

I am 22 months old! 

I'm always on the go; it's hard to get me to stop for a posed photo while I'm playing. Here I am outside playing with my water toys!

Mother's Day

When I woke up on Mother's Day, I had a very high fever and was feeling very sick.  We canceled our plans to celebrate with our family and stayed home.  Mommy and Daddy took very good care of me! I got to spend a lot of time with my Mommy and was extra cuddly to celebrate her day. It has taken a while for me to start feeling better, but I'm finally getting back to normal!

I got to celebrate with my grandmas, too!
