I've been finding fun ways to use my toys lately- sometimes, it's not necessarily the way that the toy was intended to be used. It sure makes it a lot of fun, though!
Did you know that my toy-chest can be a fun place to play peek-a-boo?
Or, that I can act like a roaring lion if I flip my toy-table over and climb on it?
Over the past few weeks, I have loved reading books more and more! I pick up a book, carry it over to whatever adult is around, and hand it to them to read to me. When I'm playing on my own, I like to hold the book and turn the pages while pointing to and laughing at different pictures. I even try to show my other baby-friends my books.
Here is a video of my Mommy and me looking at an animal book. It has some of my favorite animals in it: a monkey, a lion and a dog! I can tell the difference between them and I like making their animal sounds. Take a look!
My Mommy brought up a big cardboard box from our basement! I never knew such a fun toy was hiding down there. My parents and I have been having fun with it ever since. I like to go in the box, open and close the flaps, bang on the top of the box and play peek-a-boo. I love playing with it!
I use my drum sticks to bang on the box. Sometimes, I bang on other things, too. Here is a short clip of my drumming skills.
Today is Mommy's birthday! I spent all day with her. Daddy and Grandma helped me shop for Mommy since I can't drive to the store on my own. I got my mom wonderful presents and made her smile all day long! My Mommy and I love spending all-day, every-day together!!
Since I am so tall, I get to have my car seat facing forward now! It is a whole new view for me and I like looking out the big window instead of at the seat of the car. My Mommy and I get to talk, sing and play games while we drive! I like riding in the car a lot more now that I am facing forward!
